Archaeological Survey

A comprehensive archaeological survey is to be carried out over the next few years. Planning is still in the early stages, but it is intended to commence work this year on Flodden Hill, where the Scots camped prior to the Battle. Further work will endeavour to find a debris trail from here to the Battlefield, and a full an systematic survey of the Battlefield will be completed by the 500th anniversary of Flodden in 2013. More news will be posted here as plans are firmed up.
